In this hands-on workshop, Berlin-based producer HOVR will show how to turn musical ideas into functional club tracks more intuitively, quickly, and with fewer technical barriers. The focus lies on creative Ableton workflows, efficient production techniques, and finding a satisfying personal workflow without getting lost in technology or perfectionism.
Using concrete examples, HOVR explains how to remove common obstacles in the production process and how to quickly develop working grooves from first sketches. During the workshop, he will live-produce a club drop and give direct insight into his workflow, decision-making, and approach to sound design, groove, and arrangement.
Participants are also invited to bring their own projects, listen to them together on a high-end club sound system, and receive feedback and practical tips for the next steps. The workshop concludes with an open hangout and music sharing session.
