    • Zoë Zimmermann (Operations Manager & DJ, Hive Club Zurich)
Zoë Zimmermann has been active in the Swiss club and event scene for many years. After completing her apprenticeship at the NZZ, her career path led her to RockStar Magazin and the Street Parade, where she worked for ten years in various roles. During this time, she was involved in both event organisation and administration, supporting the planning and execution of numerous events. Over the years she took on increasing responsibility, including running the Love Mobile. Zoë developed a close connection to electronic music and Zurich's nightlife at an early age. Alongside her work in the events sector, she worked behind the bar in various clubs, getting to know the industry from many different angles. These experiences shaped her understanding of how event organisation, hospitality and club culture interact. In 2016, she began working at Hive, initially behind the bar. What started as operational work in club life quickly evolved: after two years she took on the role of Night Manager and Bar Manager. Since 2020, she has been a permanent member of the office team, where she oversees the clubs organisational and personnel processes as Operations and HR Manager. In this role, she supports the business both behind the scenes and through direct exchange with staff, artists and partners. Alongside her work at Hive, Zoë has been organising her own events since 2020, collaborating with various labels. Her long-standing closeness to electronic music and club life eventually led her behind the DJ decks as well. For the past three years she has been performing under the name “der Zimmërmann”. Her musical career grew out of many years of experience behind the scenes and on the dancefloor – with a fine sense for atmosphere, dynamics and the special energy of a night out. Today, Zoë Zimmermann feels equally at home behind the scenes and on stage. Her extensive experience organising large-scale events, her leadership role in club operations and her work as a DJ complement one another naturally, reflecting her versatile career within the Swiss club and event scene.
