Zurich Music Week is a boutique music festival in the heart of Europe, in Switzerland's most vibrant city – Zurich.
For one week, we connect local, national, and international artists with players from all fields of the electronic music industry. We provide theoretical and practical knowledge about producing and DJing to interested newcomers as well as established artists, and we discuss current cultural issues in our conferences.
In addition to networking and knowledge transfer, we aim to organize extraordinary events. In our festival center, the Kraftwerk Zurich, we invite you to label nights from Klaus or Glanzikultur. At the Haus am Fluss, artists like Extrawelt offer electronic live music, and in Zwingli's venerable Wasserkirche, there will be exclusive showcases – for example, by Rodriguez Jr. In short, we highlight electronic music in all its facets. Anything less would not do justice to the venue, Zurich – a city that has included its techno culture in the list of "living traditions" since 2017, thus making it a UNESCO cultural heritage.
Moreover, Zurich in summer, with the "Zürisee" and Limmat, its many fountains, all the outdoor bars, restaurant terraces, and day raves, is simply one of the best cities in the world. We want the visitors of ZMW to experience this!
Every year, we pay special attention to diversity and sustainability in all its dimensions, the exchange of knowledge, as well as respectful and loving interactions with each other and the culture that is so dear to us.
